Weight training or resistance training can be very instrumental
in manipulating your overall appearance. Weather you want
to get bigger or trying to slim down building muscle is
very important.
The connection between resistance training and gaining
size seems to be apparent to most people. The hard connection
is gaining muscle and getting smaller. For some reason the
vast majority seem to think the only way to lean up is to
stop eating and run everyday.
You may have noticed I haven’t used the term weight lost.
The reason is weight is not the issue, the issue body fat.
Since muscle is denser then fat it takes up less space,
so if we can loose 5 lbs of fat and gain 5 lbs of muscle
we would be smaller in appearance.
You may ask if resistance training can make you bigger
or smaller how can you determine what it will do for me?
The one thing you need to remember is CALORIES IN VS CALORIES
OUT. If you burn more calories then you consume you will
get smaller. Let me caution you if you don’t get enough
calories you could be losing muscle ( click on the nutrition
page ).
The connection to resistance training and fat lost is
significant. Keep checking this page and the core page for
tips on how to expedite your fat lost. If you are looking
to put size on check here and the body building page.
